Ten Cents and The Moon Spirit: Chapter 2
Far away, just beyond Demder Rocks where a lightship known as Lillie was anchored nearby, was a sea cave near a coastal cliff that was teeming with dozens of bats flying inside to roost for the day. This sea cave where the colony of bats called home was known as Mayari Cave because it was hiding a mystical secret that lies hidden within the zones of the caverns where almost no other creature in the world besides the bats themselves had dared to look deep within. The interior of Mayari Cave’s zones, especially the twilight zone were often decorated with glowing mushrooms and crystals that often glowed either an eerie green, blue, violet, or even white as the few lights of the day and the moonlight often seeped into the cracks from the entrance. These crystals as well as the mushrooms of the twilight zone were an enchanting sight to behold, but what truly makes Mayari Cave a magical place was the fact that it is where the Moon Spirit and her mysterious powers resided and once protected
