It all started with your lovesick depression. Yes, you were lovesick. You never had someone to cuddle with, someone to talk with, and someone to hold hands with, nope. The only person that you wanted to do those things with didn’t think of you that way.
And his name is Arthur Kirkland.
You and Arthur have been best friends since freshman year, and now you were both juniors. Or soon to be, anyways; it was summer at the moment.
Back to the reason why you are lying in bed
"I'm going to keep Iggycat" I said. It's been hard decision but... what else I would do. Americat looked at me with his bright, blue eyes and started to panic. He was running around the room and meowing all the time.
"Now, now, be a good cat and go with me" Kiku grabbed the larger cat and walked out. Iggycat meowed at me and licked my cheek. I petted him as he purred.
"So... you're happy about that you're staying?" I smiled and he meowed louder. I took him onto my arms and looked at him. Somehow he looked really familiar.
"You are just like my friend, Iggy..." I smiled sadly. "His name is Arthur, he's so nice to me, you know?"
The cat turned his head to the side and I giggled.
"Yes, just like you" I rubbed his ear "he has green eyes, like you. Also, he has those crazy, thick eyebrows... and it looks like you have pair of them too"
He purred and rubbed his head on my neck. It's like he understood me.
Arthur groaned and you giggled
"Your daughter is awake" You said, hugging him close
"Yes, I had noticed" He said
The two of you stayed lying there in bed with your eyes shut; hoping Alice would give up and go back to bed. Your daughter was cute, but she had annoying little habits. Like waking you up in the middle of the night to go to school, yet throws a fit when it is time to go in the morning. She had [Hair colour] hair, just like yours and her father's dazzling green eyes. You thought she looked like the pictures that he had shown you of his mother, who died when he was very young but he kept insisting that she was looking more like you by the day
"Wake up! Wake up!"
Arthur sighed, indicating he had decided to give up. He sat up and you opened your eyes, watching him rub his eyes and stretch as your daughter jumped up and down on the bed
"Alright, Alice what is it?" He asked
"It's father's day! I have to give you a present!" She repli
You furrowed your brow in confusion at the large door in front of you. This was unusual. Arthur almost always answered his door. You had always known him to be very prompt. Not to mention, you two were supposed to have a date. You reached for the handle and to your surprise, his door was unlocked. He always locked his door before leaving, so he had to be home. You opened the door and peaked your head in. "Arthur?" you called.
Nothing. You pouted. Where in the hell was he?! You let yourself in, shutting the door behind you. Suddenly, your phone went off and you pulled it out to check. Arthur Kirkland.
"Arthur?" you answered.
"________! Listen, I know we had a date today, but I need to cancel. I promise I'll make it up to you, love," he said. He sounded panicked.
"But I'm already here... where are you? And why wouldn't you just tell me in person?!"
"What?! Your inside?! Get out of here before he"
You set down the dinner on the dining room table. You had set the table before preparing the meal spaghetti and meatballs. Arthur was out at work, so you offered to watch Matthew and Alfred for him, so you and the boys were having dinner alone. Ever since the day you rescued the boys from the park, you had been coming over more often, cooking more often as well, because apparently, Arthur was a terrible cook. You made sure to leave all of the leftovers for them. You didn't mind coming over. The boys had grown on you. Whenever you weren't studying for classes, at work or in class you were at Arthur's home. You had even had spent the night in the guest bedroom. You barely spent any time at your own home even though it was right across the street. Not that you minded. Your roommates were deplorable.
"Coming!" you heard two voices chorus.
You could hear two sets of feet running across the floor above your

Another blow to the stomach and you were down.
"Maybe that will teach you to do as your told." your uncle hissed as he slammed the door to your dark room.
You slowly and painfully picked yourself up from the cool wooden floor and choked out a sob.
Sadly, this was your daily routine.
Ever since your parents died in a fire when you were 4, you have been living with your drunken uncle. Whenever he drank, he would hit you. Whenever he was sober, he screamed at you.
You couldn't win.
A few years ago, you were forced to drop out of school because your Uncle refused to pay. You tried getting many jobs but they never really paid much. So, when you were scanning through your newspaper yesterday, you found an add.
"UNITED NATIONS MAID WANTED" this interested you. And the pay was more than all your prev
You rolled out of bed and shuffled your way down the stairs into the kitchen where talking could be heard. You timidly peeked inside to see the Nordic's.
"Well, she seemed better." Norway said while sipping tea.
"True, maybe physically, but I'm worried about mentally." Finland sighed.
Sweden came towards him and wrapped an arm around his waist. Denmark glanced over to where you were standing and bolted out of his seat. "________!" Everyone looked over to your shaking form.
"G-good morning..." you say softly. The looks of worry begin to soften.
"Good morning sweetie." Finland said leading you over to a seat. Iceland stood and offered you his chair. You smiled and happily took it. Saying a shy thank you. Iceland stayed standing.
The room was engulfed in silence until you spoke up. "I'm sorry."
They all stare. "For what? You've been in bed." says Denmark edging clos
The girl he was talking to walked away, looking agitated. He went back to his friends, who were leaning against the wall and had seen what had happened
"You botched it again?!" Arthur said, folding his arms
"At this rate, you'll become the guy in the school with the most rejections" America said
"Oui, even more than that loser from Canada" Francis laughed
"Francis, that's our friend Matthew, aru" Yao sighed
"He's still a loser" Francis muttered
"Alright, let's get back to the job in hand ... getting Ivan a girl so his crazy sister will leave him be" Arthur said
"Sh-she's not crazy. She's just ... eccentric" Ivan said, a little embarrassed
He was always a little defensive when it came to his family, but he couldn't deny that his younger sister Natalia was a little messed up in the head. He had gone to his friends for help, hoping they could teach him how to get a girl to like him ... one that wasn't his crazy sister. But he always ended up

What if the beautiful girl never became the princess bride?
You put the worn letter to your chest and gasped as you cried silently, your tears slipping quickly down your cheeks.
"...I am sorry to inform you of this grave situation.... He was killed by the Dread Pirate Roberts on his voyage on June 17...."
Your body became numb as you let your thoughts wander to better times, hoping that this was all a horrid dream.
You thought of the first time you met him. You had been ten years old when the twelve year old boy showed up on your family's doorstep, starving and in need of a job. His parents had been killed by pirates and he had been left by himself, a mere orphan, to carry on in this harsh time filled with starvation and diseas
