Only Good-Byes in my Eyes...
... so let's have one last good fishing trips, guys.
Pitter patter. Pitter patter. It was rainy and cold tonight. Small, slow raindrops hitting pine needles fallen leaves along the muddy trail. It was the fourth day it had been raining, almost mimicking the feelings that had been going around Mad Galloping Farms before this trip. Trey, a tawny accented male tokota, didn’t like it. Then again, he didn’t really like this week in general. He was going to be losing two friends soon, they would be heading home to their pack with two other members that had been visiting the farm all month. Trey had tried hard to not get attache

The typical barriers that people put around themselves meant nothing to her, for she truly had no boundaries. If she made someone uncomfortable, as usual, it was nothing she could magically fix, for all she did was speak her mind. As a young girl, her parents had such strict control over her that all of her thoughts and feelings were quashed under their rules and demands, which caused the little hellfire redhead to grow up and throw away the standards and expectations that had been shoved down her throat. And perhaps it was why she and Hiamovi could
Darkness that previously engulfed the frozen plain now began to subside with the break of dawn, rays of the early sun cascading across the blanketed lands to bathe everything in a warm glow. Wind swept across the massive terrain, bringing stray snowflakes to life that had pelted the earth the night before. Even at such early hours, very few began their journey and daily tasks. Today there was one such person, a young woman along with her companions, one of which was eager for their trip.
Boots struck the ground with heavy steps, confidence radiating through the fur clad woman who made her way directly to her Tokotas. Odin, the black spotte
Cikuq shook the water from his pelt, droplets flying all over the place. He turned his head to look over his shoulder at his companions, still in the freezing sea-water. Kinaktok’s long mane floated up around him as he chased fish, his muzzle completely submerged under the surface. Slightly further along the coast-line, Pikatti was splashing excessively, trying to paddle back to her companions. Cikuq trotted along the edge of the water, his little paws digging up the sand as he went.
Kinaktok, meanwhile, was oblivious to his disappearing companions, more focused on trying to nab a particularly pesky fish that insisted on nipping at his
Coming up on the watering hole, Kitomé realized how iced over it really was. She sighed, setting foot on it, seeing no fear of falling through, and walked on towards the center. The river leading in was still running slowly, trickling in under the three feet of ice, letting fish in and out. Behind her followed a bouncing and weaving Dzikie and the mellow, sweet Drayliri. Dzikie couldn't hold himself still as Kit dug at the ice, he too tried to paw and claw his way though, sometimes getting in the way and nearly losing a toe or two. “Calm down, Zeik!” Kit yelled, getting frustrated with him. “I'm sorry... I just... I wa

[Fishing] Friendly competition
It was a perfect day for fishing. The weather was calm and there was almost no wind even on the lake. The day was bright but clouds covered the sky so the light wasn’t blinding. The spring had melted most of the snow on the ice so you could almost see the largest fish swimming just below surface. These conditions had drawn several tokotas to the lake – some with handlers, some without. Hildr and Cimmeris had left their handlers and others behind to catch some fish – if there was any left on the lake after half of Tokotna had passed by. They had found company in Kasatka, a wild tokota with black fur ewho had offered to show t
