Covered in a white sheet, coated in cobwebs and dust.
Curiosity claimed me and I soon found myself gazing into the wonderfully decorated mirror.
What I saw scared me,
Everything I had ever done, right there,
In front of me,
Before my very eyes.
The time my first love had broken my heart.
The time when my best friend stabbed me in the back.
The time that my parents and I fought.
The time I wanted to die.
I noticed that the mirror only focussed on the negatives,
And I wondered why.
So I searched my brain for the answer,
But I found only nothing.
I continued staring in,
And then it hit me.
This mirror was really just my thoughts projected on a screen,
It had no control over what it was broadcasting back to me.
I realised that instead of the times that I enjoyed,
I focused on the negatives.
The tears instead of the laughs.
The heartbreak instead of the love.
Then before my very eyes the images changed.
