Father and Daughter
"Okay, I'm leaving now," Courtney said, rushing to an interview with her band, Hole. "Love you!" She gave a kiss to Kurt and Frances. Then she ran out of the house, got in the car with the rest and drove off. Now, Kurt was in charge of taking care of his baby daughter, who was born not too long ago.
"Well, Frances," Kurt told her, "I guess it's just you and me now." Frances was lying in her cradle, sleeping.
Kurt ran his hand around her thin hair. He remembered how he felt the day he learned that Courtney was pregnant and the blindess of love. And how upset he was at the critics.
