blank sp{ace}s alight
with energy & we're
sing{e}ing, burning
home as a lullaby
through the stars
of us:
{ali}ve in the places
where skies are static,
we're light{e}ning
striking as epiphanies
through the fog of
wondering:
how did we come
here, to the spaces
where they become
we{apon} & float,
longing children no-
longer waiting upon
mist to disperse?
we arrived here
through spires that
caved in on cathedrals
like echoes. remnants are
burst of god, through gusts
of naught. cosmos in uni-
verse -tie our pendulums
together.

I saw something That I do not understand At all... I saw the Good Standing beside the Bad, And I knew them to be Different from each other; I understood the contrast, But not the other people's responses... I saw a horse With a long face And a shallow mind Who was a fool And remained so Yet continued to wonder Why he was miserable. I saw a man with a brilliant mind And a flask in his hand Who traversed infinite cosmoses Yet could never outrun That ever resilient Fear and despair That remained in step with him. I saw a separate universe Built by a man Who perceived no limits And spun golden fairytales Painted vibrantly with Light and Darkness For his children and comrades And taught us of the heights of wonder No eye had yet reached Even in the mind. And I heard a very great deal About an ordinary man, Who went with his fingers in his ears For many years Until One night His deepest-rooted fear Approached him And said, "I will help you, If you'll let Me." I know and understand
