Darkfire woke up at the piercing light. He blinked, trying to figure out where he was, but all he could see was the blankness surrounding him.
Only when his eyes focused he saw snow all around him, and eventually followed by the numbing coldness. He stood up and shook his pelt, which was covered entirely with snow.
