In the 1980's the Transformers series proved to be highly successful. Despite the original series ending in 1988, that didn't stop toy sales, or the series, expanding beyond the show. Because of it's popularity, the Transformers would be adapted into a brand new film for a new audience. While some were skeptic, others were optimistic. In the summer of 2007, the Transformers returned to the big screen and proved they are more than meets the eye. Worlds collide when humanity encounters a race of robotic beings capable of changing shape. One side fights for good while the other fights for evil yet both have brought their war to earth to attain ultimate power. Only a human youth holds the key to earth's survival. Before Transformers went into production, producer Don Murphy was planning a film adaptation of the show, G.I. Joe but, due to incidents in 2003, it was suggested by Hasbro to adapt the Transformers series. Murphy would later be joined by Tom DeSanto, who
