........ You know when people use this argument, it's pretty much just a strawman.
People for secular will insult religion by throwing in Islam, The Old Testament, and cults. But secular itself can be countered with Nazism, Socialism, Communism, Flat World Society, and PETA. When was the last time you heard PETA preaching anything religion related?
Now of course this type of argument is perfectly fine for government/political things. I live in the USA and even though it was technically never a christian ruled nation, I still love it here. We have Freedom of Speech and the right to choose what we want to think. And I would feel pretty uneasy

To a slightly lesser extent, the GG can also be extended to include that which benefits any (politically correct) group to which you belong: such as an ideology, political affiliation, social group, etc.
