Looks Can Be Deceiving (Hydreigon Vore)
It had been such an easy and enjoyable last day of vacation for you that it seemed nigh impossible to have it spoiled. The sun was beginning to fade in the horizon at the edge of the vast forest that surrounded you, giving you ample time to make it out of the widely spaced woods to make it back home to the campsite you had set up at the edge of the treeline. A gentle breeze guided you along, the wind rustling the leaves overhead and providing soft background music for your travels along with the soft crunches of detritus under foot. You had made it just over halfway back to your camp before a rustling sound behind you caught your attentio

Original Fic: Home Is Where the Heart Is
The door creaks open beneath your fingers. You aren’t sure if it wasn’t properly latched, or if the doorframe is simply that worn out. You don’t know which one you would prefer.
The floor seems to sag as you take your first step into the entryway, and the door doesn’t quite manage to click as you push it closed behind you. Part of you wants to just leave it open. It’s scarcely past noon, and yet it’s darker than midnight, dust coating the windows like curtains.
But the last thing you want is the songbirds deciding to move in, so instead you drag one hand along one of the window panes. Your fingers and pal
"Virgin" sacrifice never meant anything about sexual activity, back in the dark ages. In the same way that virgin olive oil doesn't actually have anything to do with the sexuality of olives. For the curious, olive oil has to do with acid content and the means of expressing the oil.
Anyway, back to sacrifices.
Virgin just meant that the person, usually a woman, was very young. In the case of virgin blood sacrifice, just that their blood has never been used for whatever the sacrificial or mystical purpose is. It's pretty interesting, I think.
I hope this makes sense. I can continue on with my history lesson, but I figured I
You're lying on a park bench, watching the world go by. You've recently turned 14, and therefore too old to go in the playground, though it makes little difference to you now. Last summer they got rid of the big slide, health and safety reasons as such, and it's not been fun anymore. You have little to do while your little brother is enjoying the swings, so you take out your phone and play a game, pretending to look busy. But you soon give up.
Still, you could be indoors right now, doing homework in front of the TV, watching the same old sitcoms and getting stuck on the second question. So you enjoy the fresh air for what it is. Taking in a

Dean Winchester X Reader: Autumn
The first time you met him, he was a junior field agent for the FBI, going by the name of Freely, and he was investigating a series of disappearances.
The second time you met him was in an entirely different part of the state. He was now going by Inspector Tombes, closing off the bar you were working in for a possible "roach infestation." No infestation had ever been found, and you put the coincidence from mind until nearly two years later.
When you bumped into him in a gas station outside London, Ohio, him flirting under the pseudonym of Campbell, you finally called his bluff, recognizing the black beauty idling out in the parking lot.

Love Goes By Haps: Collected Prompts, Chapter 20
AN: I went on a WRITING SPREE this weekend, y’all. Here’s the second Measure For Measure chapter, again inspired by the evocatively weird Vakhtangov Theatre. In homage to their weirdness, I decided to undertake an experiment of my own, combining three second person POVs to create the full narrative. I firmly believe that the only positive couple in this play, in terms of how they relate to each other, what their love is based on, and what they’re willing to do to maintain their relationship, is Claudio and Juliet: our two primary voices. Naturally, their love provides one major source of conflict in the play, as the zealous Angelo seeks first to punish fornicators in his quest to clean up Vienna. And who better to make an example of than a well-liked, more or less innocent, child-expecting gentleman like Claudio? Naturally, the more equitable characters in the play do NOT approve, leading to a quite interesting amount of pleas in his favour. People really do not want to see this guy
You are a scientist. You graduated from the top of all favourable classes specialising in the study of souls at the best university in Eire. After you received your diplomas, you opened your own business and laboratory. This lab aims to create new kinds of healthcare and therapy treatments for people that were previously not thought possible until you arrived on the scene. These treatments are commissioned by the ETHO and sold around the world. You have been working with colleagues- that had now become close friends for several years- and they all approved of your scientific perspectives. These experiments into learning more about souls always went well but you could never help feeling anxious about them. I mean, if you were to look at it from the perspective of someone who didn’t know any better, you were risking people’s lives every time you ran a test. Is that really not problematic? That’s why you always do this yourself. You’re assured by this, aren’t you? The innumerable number

One year later…
It was the early evening in the office. The sun was just setting outside, and you could see the doctor, or rather therapist, looking out the window. He was holding a cup of tea before he walked over to his desk and looked at you.
“Before we begin, there are a few things I need to make sure you understand. You see… no one can change what happened last year. The past is beyond our control, and you must accept this in order to move forward,” Dr. Soren began.
You just sat in your seat in silence as he spoke. You’ve still been upset, and rather depressed with what happened a

Just Let Me Love You (Reader x Urushihara Hanzo)
Falling in love with me was a mistake, he said.
The moment he said that you knew you should've listened to the warning bells in your head. You knew who he really was. Alas, sucks for him, for the human heart was made to be stubborn as it was hopeful.
I'll make it work, you replied, blazing determination (can he even feel them burning?) in your eyes. Meeting him was that once-in-a-lifetime, fleeting feeling, the type poets and romantics wrote of time and time again, something that should be grasped as soon as you can. Throw caution to the wind. Only those who dare get to win. I won't get in your way, you bargained, I'll only be by your side,
Time to work, five o’ clock, and you won’t be out of here ‘til at least five hours from now. Already counting down the minutes, though it’s not like you know exactly when you’ll be done. Gotta mop the whole place. Closing really sucks. This sandwich shop sucks and it’s full of nothing but white suburban moms and their entitled soccer team kids. But if you want spending money at college, Blair, you have to do this…
Tighten that stupid bright orange hat on your head. Tuck in your shirt in your belted jeans. Okay. God, why can’t you just make money off your YouTube videos? Try as you might
