x86 Has Peaked, Make Way For ARM!
It seems that the x86 architecture, which is what Intel and AMD uses for their CPUs, has peaked and will only receive minor improvements from here on out. The Three Pillars? Qualcomm, AMD, Apple Silicon... This might be the new three-pillar conglomerate in the coming years, rather than the two-pillar we have now: Intel and AMD. It is unknown when ARM will be the new normal for computers, I predict within the next 5 to 10 years, however! What about x86? x86 might still be around for a few more years, but that's unlikely as ARM is far more efficient now. During the Apple transition from PowerPC to Intel, it showed that Intel had a roadmap that Apple could use. Now Intel is having trouble since the 10 nm delay which caused the 2019 i9 MacBooks to throttle below the base CPU speed... That's bad! It's a big transitional period for computing, and it's going to be a good one! When will ARM peak? What will come after? Well, the x86 transistor was made way back in 1947, and Intel was
