(Esmeralda - Esmeraldo)
(This story may contain sensitive material in it. Just for the warning.)
The world was wild, full of wicked sin and vice everywhere you turned, there were always liars, cheaters, debauchees, murderers, all of them hell-bound sinners all the same everywhere you looked. There on this Earth purity was missing and the world remained full of unruly vile evil corruption. Purity was nowhere to be seen within this tainted world as the hand of sin left nothing untouched, but he was desperate enough to cling onto to what he called purity and claimed it as his own and his alone. You were his purity, you were untouched by the world's sinful infliction and literally godsend, or so that is what he believed. This man was known as Judge Claude Frollo and he believed he had been gifted by God and his angels for his good works a girl wh
1. People don't behave the same way all the time. In fact, they generally have a mask for every social group -- friends, family, business. Sometimes they have a different mask for different groups of friends. How does your character act around different people? How does their personality shift and change?
2. Your character has been brought to a party and promptly ditched. They don't have a ride back home. How does this work? How comfortable are they around all of these strangers? Do they interact?
3. It's kind of awkward - what subje
I’m guessing all of you have read at least one fanfiction where an OC ends up with the main character and trumps an important romance between him/her and another character. We’ll that OC may me a candidate for a Mary sue/Gary stu label.
What are Mary sue’s and Gary stu’s you may ask, we’ll I’m here to educate you in these two GIANT crimes against decent fanfiction. Trust me, an OC can make or break a fanfiction.
Here are the traits of a Mary sue.
-Everything in the story goes perfect for her. (This includes romance, school, Pokemon battling, duel monsters, fights, ect.)
-She has absolutely NO personality flaws what so ever. (She is nice no everyone, even people who

Your OC's Opinion on the Konoha Ninja (and Sand )
Note:You may add other characters too (even other OCs that you have in your own Naruto world), but don't add them if you're character doesn't even know or meet them (ex: Putting Juugo under the character list, when your OC has been good and stayed
Don't get too extravagant with this. Description of appearance is one of the most commonly overdone things with OCs. Keep it simple no one will remember a word you say if you describe everything from the shape of his/her nose to the color of his/her toenails. Also, keep this within the realm of the fandom. In a fandom where characters all have naturally colored hair, it would be strange if your character had naturally pink hair.
Do note the weapon depends on the fandom, the age, the time, the place, etc. Your character may also not have weapons, it all depends. If your character does have a weapon, what type of weapon it is depends largely on the fandom. For example, it would be quite bizarre if your Rurouni Kenshin OC used a light saber as a weapon. And it would be a plot-hole
Similar to weapon, the ability of your character depends on the fandom. If the canon characters of the fando

This guide is meant to introduce and/or inform you of this threat that is currently attacking storywritting, drawing, Original Character creation (OCs) and fandom/fanfiction in general, not to say Originality itself!
During the course of this guide, you will learn what a Mary Sue is, youll identify one when sighted and, most importantly, you will not create one and hopefully you will help others in the subject, so they dont create Mary Sues too.
I) Mary Sue 101:
-What is a Mary Sue?
Mary Sue is a title given to characters in fanfiction (and sometimes original, professional work) who are simply perfect: They are beautiful, smart, friendly, always willing to help for nothing in exchange even if they can die, powerful, important in one way or other...you get the point (I will explain on emphasis later). These characters are often created in Roleplaying forums/chatrooms or simply as OCs with a storyline
