The cold Parisian air nipped at your skin, making you tug your coat tighter around you.
Placing the basket on the ground, you unfolded the blanket and laid it flat on the concrete building. Setting up two cups with lemon tea bags inside, you grabbed the thermos and poured your cup with hot water. Getting one more item in the basket was a container full of bourbon biscuits stuffed with chocolate cream. Taking a tiny sip of your tea and taking a nibble of the biscuit, you patiently waited for a certain masked blonde.
"Hello, ma cherie." He whisper
>>Author's Note: An invisible ribbon tied around the right index finger of someone indicates your soulmate<<
"I'M DONE! SO DONE!"
You threw multiple pages of notes across your bedroom floor to clutch your hair in frustration. There was no way on this Earth you could memorize all this information before the final tomorrow.
"I knew I shouldn't have hung out with Noir last night." The mere thought of the superhero made you grin. Be it as it may, you didn't so much regret hanging out with him than you regretted not studying. Cue to the problem at hand and flopping down on your bed face first.
"Arm gorna fail!!"
Suddenly there was a throbbing on your finger. Absentmindedly your rubbed it and lifted your head.
"Darn ribbon. Stop pulsating already! I have too much on my mind to think about my Soulmate right now."
Ah, yes. That soulmate thing. It wa
Chapter 1 – Confessions
In the daytime, she was Marinette, but when evil were to arise...she would become Ladybug. She had a secret identity as a 15 year old school girl who lived in a bakery with her French father and Chinese mother. She had a best friend called Alya who was obsessed with Ladybug and ran her own blog on her. But the most important thing in her life was her huge crush on Adrien.
Adrien Agreste, a rich 15 year old blonde who was a model, and really good at fencing, but secretly, he was also Chat Noir.
Together in their alter egos, Ladybug and Chat Noir would fight together to battle off the evil akumas led by Hawkmoth, an evil man with the power to change harmless butterflies into akumas and possess the weak and angry minded.
However, there was one thing they didn't know about each other...and that was who they both really were. Adrien had no idea that it his crush Ladybug, was really Marinette, and Marinette did
"I'm so sorry Marinette, but an emergency came up and I have no one else to watch them!"
"But I," she began.
"Please, it's only for a few hours! I wouldn't ask you unless it was a last resort!"
The pleading look was all it took for Marinette to give in. She took the baby and the diaper bag and lead the six year old in.
"Can you feed them lunch? Also, try to get her to nap afterward."
"But mommy! I'm too old for naps," stomped the girl.
"I'll do my best. Anything else?"
"Yes, he has a rash and needs cr
Chat Noir was perched on the railing of her balcony.
"Hello, Purr-incess. These look new; I never took you as a gardener."
"I do have a green thumb. I really like the way these looked and they actually have some health benefits. Plus, they are my project in biology."
"What is it," he asked approaching her.
"It's catnip. I can brew it in tea or cook with it to and it can help stomach with problems."
Chat Noir got down by the blooms and sniffed them.
"Hmmm", he thought. "That smells great!"
He sniffed it some more and a euphoric sensation invaded his brain. He felt really giddy and tense and yet relaxed. He sniffed it more and he just couldn't get enough of it.
"Oh gawd, this
"What is it, Evangeline," he whispered.
"Can we play tea party now," she said in a normal voice.
"Shhhh, Mari and Remy are still sleeping," he shushed.
"But you promised," she whined quietly.
"I know, I know. We can't play in here; let's go to Mari's room ok?"
"Ok, the tea set is in the chest but it's down at the bottom."
"Let's just take it with us then."
Adrien gently eased his way off the couch and took the toy chest and Evangeline up to Marinette's room. A few minuets later, Marinette woke up and saw that she was alone in the living room with no Evangline or Adrien in sight. She noticed that Remy was awake, too.
"Well, hello Remy. Did you have a go
"So, about what happened today," he started but not sure where to take it much less finish it. "I'm not offended, if that's what you're worried about."
"The whole, calling me 'daddy' thing. I'm not offended; I was surprised."
"It was a slip of the tongue. For whatever reason, I got to thinking about that and seeing you with the kids gave me a glimpse of something and
