“Just DIE already!” Scorch snarled, sinking fiery fangs deep into the Grand Vizier. Surely that was enough… The Mega Pinsir staggered, but didn’t fall, and then Mr Boop came whizzing in over his shoulder.
It was enough. The Grand Vizier crashed to the ground, and everyone breathed a sigh of relief, right up to the point when that towering Kabutops screeched in rage. Everyone dove for cover as the massive scythes raked through the air, drawing sparks as they slid across the stone floor.
Some of the Pokemon were able to fly, or teleport, or just be lucky enough to dodge. A few others managed to get under the shields er
The salty air and the warm sun were a welcome relief after the many…hours? Days? Weeks? Year? Spent in the caverns of The Meander. The loud honk of the ship’s horn prompted some wingull flying nearby to squawk back. And nearby and coming closer, the sight of the mainland was coming into view.
A cool breeze ruffled Ammonia’s fur as she warmed herself on the ship’s deck. She was no longer wearing anything from the Meander, having discarded the bloody clothes soon after they returned to the surface.
And that was how it was supposed to be.
Light footsteps alerted her of someone behind her. Looking over her shoulder,
Glistening with fire. Reflecting the red, orange and yellow of the friend she had made. Her eyes spoke a millenia of words. Of all the Pokemon to bond with, I would have not expected her to find a companion in that Floatzel.
Hippolyta danced around in merriment, led by Dee as they celebrated the victory over the fallen Gardevoir. The mighty archmage was a bastion between us and the final room of this dark and mysterious dungeon. It was not proper. It was welcome. The room sighed collectively as we relaxed our muscles again.
Warriors aren’t entirely emotionless - we have things to fight towards and people to return to once th

Archmagus Cadus wasn’t at all like Hyde had made him out to be. If anything he had unexaggerated.
Archmagus Cadus was a monster!
When the Adventurers had finally entered the room he had been there to greet them with unchecked malice. Even when standing still the mega gardevoir glowed with power, illuminating the entire room. Sparks crackled from his eyes and the stone embedded in his chest. His weapon, a white staff with a wide, fan-like end, was gripped in his hand, ready for use. And most importantly of all he was pissed.
A blast of supernatural energy later, and Ammonia and her team were circling him; keeping to the far end o
“He’s winding up for another attack!”
Ree didn’t know who’d shouted, but it was a good thing they had. She’d been so focused on dealing damage that she’d been too close to actually see the beast. At least the benefit of fighting something so monstrously huge was that it took a while for it to move.
She wasn’t doing any good here, and she knew it. As satisfying as the attack was, it was selfish of her to waste her talents. She let Scorch continue tearing at the great talon, Crunching into it over and over, trying to get deep enough to cause some actual damage. Ree backed away, to set up a pray

“Ok, what horror’s up ahead, Hyde?”
“Huh?”
“The chanting we’ve been hearing up ahead. Down this corridor we’ve been avoiding. That!” Ammonia explained, complete with hand gestures.
The Adventurers, including Witch’s Gambit, were slowly and cautiously trudging down the third narrow corridor. No one talked and everyone had a weapon out. When they had first come upon the hallway back at the Forked Hallway, continuous chanting could clearly be heard. Now, it was silent.
No one liked silent.
Hyde mulled it over. Judging by the position of the sun back in the Hay Room…R
"Sind?"
"Sindhelion Marafras!," yelled an old Nidoking, clad in academic robes. Sind - a young Smeargle - stumbled out of his nap.
"Master Franjep, I..."
Franjep was in no mood for excuses. "Look, I don't know how you Platanois manage to nap during a history lesson, but you're not in Platane anymore! If you want your scholarship to be worth something, my boy, you had best get your mind in the right place!"
"Yes, Master Franjep," Sind sighed. He had only been in Reverence for little over two months, and had become enamoured with its crystalline cathedrals and its ringed walls; the noise of the people in the marketplace, the fragrances of g
Legendary Pokemon do not follow the laws of man. No human completely understands the nature of a legendary, some believing them to be nothing more than rarities of specie, others saying they are physical gods. Whatever the human chooses, the legendary pokemon still holds their status of having terrible and awesome power.
Those of even milder battle prowess or ability can harbor powers that are greater than that humans can achieve or aspire. Simple creatures of gratitude, royalty of the sea, or guardians of deep deep forests can wield life changing powers.
A forest lives on after tragedy. The great fire burns the trees and turns th

“Ammonia, he’s pissed.”
Ordinarily, Tali’s remarks were so bluntly obvious Ammonia would just roll her eyes. This time, though, they felt like popping out of her skull and joining the Olympics. Lord Dome was shrieking in rage at the loss of his vizier and was swinging wildly. Protecting him was some sort of shimmering, rainbow colored shield that coated every inch of his shell. An earlier fire attack proved ineffectual, but the Adventurers did find that old fashioned physical attacks worked just fine.
That was what Ammonia and Tali were doing now: helping the others finish Dome off. Monkshood’s arm was alm
Review of the adventurer’s physical, emotional, and mental state from individual to individual would read like a monotonous poem, an overuse of copy-paste, with a heavy hand on “paste”.
Tired, aching, sore. The entire group was so sick of fighting cultists, their minds warping as infighting between teammates broke out with greater and more alarming frequency than usual. Gravedigger wasn’t even bothering to stick with her Buizel leader anymore, and Ulfric gave up entirely on attempting to keep her nearby. Brian and Faye still hadn’t quite gotten over their spat hours before. Neither could remember if it wa

Ammonia blinked the gold from her eyes. For a brief moment she could see the pinsir before he disappeared behind the churning, magical haze.
“I never did like Vizier Dozle.” Ammonia let out an undignified yelp and spun around. Hyde was standing right behind her frowning darkly in the direction where the pinsir had fallen. “He was always…too efficient.”
“Dude! What-! How-? Back there-?!”
“I couldn’t just leave you guys” the venonat explained with a shrug. “Not without warning at least. I’m…sorry. I wasn’t too late was I?”
Ammonia was taken abac
