(As the sun rises, we see the corpse of a dark brown hadrosauroid dinosaur with whites stripes running down the whole body laying in the sun.) Narrator: In a world as dangerous as this one, survival will depend on the newest of traits. And here, 122 million years ago, one evolution advantage is proving to be very effective: Feathers! (Suddenly, a pack of black tyrannosauroids, with red throats and white spots all over the body as well, start to scavenge the hadrosauroid's carcass. The title card pops up as the camera backs away from the feeding carnivores.)
(We then travel over the forest as the sun shins over the area.) The early Cretaceous
