I sit in the auditorium, grimacing at the sheer wall of noise that washes over me from all sides as I sit among both fellow new students and returning students. I shift uncomfortably before taking out my ear buds and pushing them into my ears, turning on a Lumineers playlist to drown out the stupidity. My eyes drift across the other sets of bleachers, catching on a few interesting faces before coming to a full stop on a gorgeous black-haired girl who sits apart from most of the other students. Her eyes are an interesting indigo color when they flick up to mine before looking away again.
