If I Can't Tell You The Truth, Then...
If I can't tell you the truth As I understood it To your face, Without you throwing Unwarranted Malice at me Then turning tail Like a coward And shutting the door up tight, Not giving me a chance To correct what I got wrong About you And correct you On what you got wrong about me, Then fine. The talent show wasn't even that big of a deal, yet the idea of singing in front of the entire school still scared her. She only ever sang in front her family. What would everyone else think about her? Would she be so terrible that students would make fun of her in the halls?
"Chloe!" A voice called. Chloe slowly turned to see her teacher opening up the door to the stage. Swallowing, she gave the teacher a nervous smile before going up the steps. She could do this. She could do it.
Chloe stepped onto

He opened the door and went straight to his room, despite his father's harsh words criticizing how he had failed to wash all the dishes. He didn't need that right now. Getting into an argument would lead to punishment, which would then make him feel even worse. With a heavy sigh, Dylan closed his door softly.
He had failed a test. A girl had asked him out to the dance as a prank. Her friends had laughed and jeered at him, making comments of, "A girl will never like you. You're such a child." Dylan closed his eyes tightly, but it was too late. He already had tears trickling down his cheeks. Did children get high? No. He wasn't a child, he was
