11:58 PM. Jaw aching. Muscles tense, want to stretch but no. Curtains drawn. Hiding me, protecting, concealing.
11:59 PM. 6 years hiding. Didn't mean to hurt anyone. Tried to save them. I couldn't. I can't.
12:00 AM. Joints loosen, fingers flex, I can breath. Look towards curtains, is he ok? Walk forward, dragging feet can't stand can't run. Stretching now, I can think, I can feel...human.
Looking up at the ceiling, I might check on him early. Distant laugh, clunk of feet, chatter of beak. Him. Her. Them. Not again, never again.
Peeking eyes out, camera snaps on. Harsh light floods my face. Can't pull away, only stare. Fine, it means he is s

Chapter 10- Bring me everyone Part 2
The week went from Monday to Friday and Michael had kept his distance to both Mairi and Jason. But she caught him sometimes staring at her. It sent shivers down her spine since his silent stalking made her uncomfortable. On the other hand, she was almost sure, that he was sorry for his outbreak. She couldn't blame him though. He had opened up to her greatly and she knew that he would never get hospitalised again. Not without a fight.
Mairi sighed and took a sip of her tea. She had felt a little queasy again, but after a tea and something to eat it had gotten better. Now, she was waiting for her visitor a

A Rookie in Silent Hill [RE Fanfic - Leon] Part 4
Part 4 - Loneliness Leon gingerly walked along, looking as forlorn as he felt since his attention was focused on forcing his mind off the emotional turmoil he was just subjected to. He couldn’t stop thinking about what Marvin had said and the promise he had made. Each time he passed a wayward zombie, his mind reeled, not from fear but the terrible sadness that came as he imagined what life they used to have. Consequently, the rookie was both bolstered and emotionally trodden on by these thoughts for it crushed his spirit thinking about their stolen lives, but it enhanced his rage at Umbrella, adding fuel to the flame that powered his drive and promise to Marvin. He would stop this. He would save this city. A whisper of strength quietly assured his wounded soul that it was safe from any destructive thoughts yet a part of him had trouble truly believing that. But Leon’s thoughts were mercifully interrupted by the sight of a massive roadblock standing in his path. Tall pieces of

As they all came downstairs, with Finn exploring the new home, they heard a car stop in front of the house. Going to check they were happy to see a red and white van, from which Jack and Dan came out and a man who looked very happy, dressed in a military green workwear and a mouse gray cap on his head. Jasmine would not give him less than sixty years. They all met the newcomer.
"Hi people!" He saluted, stretching out his hand toward Robert "Steve Mills, pleasure"
"Robert Hatefield, my wife Anna and my daughter Jasmine," they shook hands, and in turn all of the

Part 5 - Terror After opening the tall glass doors, Leon found the museum to be absolutely silent inside. Moonlight poured onto the polished white marble floor from large windows which left the impressive main foyer bathed in a cold gloomy glow. A large skeleton of a T-Rex posed as the permanent main feature in the middle of the open space. It was surrounded by a few smaller exhibits contained in glass display cases. Some looked to be sculptures of people, ornamental pottery, or modern art. One of which appeared to be a blue plant studded with a wide range of precious gems. The exhibit featured local artists from all over Raccoon City and the pieces supposedly related to their experiences growing up in the city according to a small sign near the door. Leon eyed the gem encrusted plant after reading the sign and shook his head with a smirk, never being one for modern art. He elected to take a look around elsewhere instead. To his left was a small reception desk so he jogged over to

Nightfall Spooks
It was about two in the morning when Patty awoke to the flapping of bat wings. Turning over to see her best friend, she decided to figure out what the flapping was all about. "Up and at 'em, Marcie. We're going Vampire Chasing" the tomboy explained, shaking her best friend awake. "Vampire chasing?" Marcie questioned as Patty nodded her head in approval.
"Sir...I'm not sure about this!" a quivering voice exclaimed as she pulled the purple sleepmask over her blue eyes. "Marcie, you're chicken!" Peppermint Patty replied, cackling witch-like as she dragged Marcie out of the room and on the

Final - An End To The Nightmare Leon stood in the main hall and looked around solemnly. There was one voice left that urged him to not give up. There had to be a chance, just a small hope that there could be another rifle in this building. He just had to find it. But the rookie could feel a growing listlessness bear down on his heart, making it quiver in fear of what he might do if he couldn’t find anything. He tried to push away those morose thoughts and took a breath. With even this meagre sense of calm, the young man walked to the left and began his search within the eastern side. Every room was scoured from top to bottom for Leon had to make sure they were clear and force his mind from dark thoughts welling within. He even took the time to dismantle the various blockades that choked some hallways. Yet with each empty room, Leon’s spirit grew heavier and heavier with the weight of terrible despair until he began to drift through the empty station, his efforts growing wearier

Part 6 - Truth Leon almost caught himself looking back at the museum but stopped before his head could turn. With a resolute breath, he tried to close himself off from that horrid place then eyed Indie again and said, “Come on, we should get moving” She understood and turned to the side which allowed the rookie to clamber up onto the saddle. Once settled with a slight shiver against the cold leather, Leon turned Indie and the pair travelled away from the museum, leaving the looming building to disappear into the fog behind them. As they rode, Leon’s thoughts turned to his journey and remembered the next place on his trip. But his hand froze on its way towards his hip pouch as he recalled he was still soaking wet. The young man bit his lip as he reached inside and produced a sodden mess that was once the map. Leon’s expression fell as he looked at the pulpy remains then cast them away whilst muttering in annoyance, “I guess we’ll just have to do it the hard way” He urged Indie

The assignment was huge — not only because of what they wanted to do, but because of the extensive notes Mrs. Tompkin wanted them to take. Their teacher wasn’t fucking around. Though… Lucas and Persephone certainly were that Sunday afternoon, shooting the shit in his old room.
“I’m only in AP Physics ‘cuz my dad wants me to be,” Persephone vented. “He thinks I’ll have a good shot in ‘the real world’ if I have top tier grades from only the hardest classes or something. Now, if this was going to la

The following day, Persephone didn’t feel like she’d made any progress with Lucas or their project. She didn’t see him all day, not even when she stopped by his locker that morning. Half-day today; she wouldn’t see him for lunch, either. Their project would suffer due to their lack of communication, and she wasn’t sure the kinds of stakes he had riding on it but if they were anything like hers, neither of them could afford to fail. She sighed as she grabbed some things from her locker. Ronald would be so pissed if she didn’t land an A.
Persephone heard a thud against the lockers beside her and peeked aroun

By that Wednesday, Persephone still couldn’t believe she’d had to skip Monday and Tuesday to look after Terry, whose drug taking was getting out of hand. Now she and Lucas barely had any time to get their project done. Mrs. Tompkin seemed to have picked up on this and approached them during class.
“You two aren’t gonna get your project done in time if you don’t hurry,” she said sternly. “I want you two ta start workin’ on your project even when you’re not in class. Most of the other students have been visitin’ each other at home — I suggest you start doin’ the same.̶

Part 5.5 - Struggle “This—this is ridiculous…” he bemoaned breathlessly. His words caused him to cough again but much more deeply, enough to make his vision blacken for a few sickening moments. More blood coated his hands, but Leon refused to acknowledge it as he was focused on getting away. With the help of a bannister, he hauled himself up the steep ramp and to the landing on the next floor. He left behind a couple bloody handprints on the white bannister as he went. Leon arrived at the top of the ramp as it veered to the left at 90 degrees. He staggered and grew lightheaded as his vision wavered. The world suddenly reeled violently which made him breathless. He touched his head as his body tilted but landed against a pillar at the top of the ramp before he could collapse. Exhausted coughs stole more energy from him which made his legs wobble, almost giving way under the strain but a new sound peaked his ears. The young man feebly cast his eyes towards the bottom of the ramps

Somehow, she wound up sitting next to Lucas at the dinner table, holding hands with him and his mother. The entire table hung their heads and Marguerite said grace, which made her squirm a bit. She’d never had to say grace before and awkwardly announced the ‘Amen’ part after everyone else had. Luckily, no one said anything and instead spooned the jambalaya out for themselves. She sat and fiddled with her fingers, noting the sausage and shrimp inside the dish. When she was the last one with an empty bowl, Marguerite frowned.
“What’s wrong, dear?”
“Uh… I don’t eat meat, ma’am.”

They met each other at the front doors to school that Monday and Lucas immediately held Persephone’s hand. He walked her to her locker, keeping their fingers laced the whole way. Damn, did it feel good to strut past the rumor mill and swagger through prying, judgmental eyes; like taking back his senior year.
When they got to their destination, she turned to face him. “I’ll see you at lunch.”
“Yep, I’ll meet y'all right here.”
She kissed his lips right in front of everyone — Goddamn did he love that. As he walked to his own locker, he couldn’t help but sashay through the halls like he own

Heavy panting, scattered bouts of gunfire; inhuman screeches tore through the empty hallways.
Behind a ruined wall, a small squad of soldiers huddled together, hiding, all the while taking pot-shots at the darkness all around them.
“What the Hell is that!” the first soldier got out through grit teeth.
“How am I supposed to know what the science division was working on?” a second murmured, the tremble in his voice giving up his terror.
A heavy thump could be heard from their left and the soldiers all fired in unison. The stroboscopic effects from their weapons’ discharge created still images of the horror slow
