My Letter to You
When I was small, I always screamed and shouted when you held me. That's what you told me. You said it as though it was funny, it was cute. But you didn't realize that that hasn't changed. Only now it's different, you scream and shout, too. To the point where I can't scream or shout back. You force your opinions onto us, trying to make us believe the same things that you do. Sometimes we're right, and we're the most amazing things in the world. Other times we're wrong, and everything we do from that point on is wrong, too. Only you're right.
