Heavy Metal High Chapter 1-Andy's Point of View-
I woke up to an alarm clock blaring in my left ear. I let out a loud groan and smacking it with my fist just to shut the thing up. Today was another day of hell. By hell I mean high school. That place was a living nightmare. The only reason why was because I was a "different" kid from everyone else.
I rolled out of my comfortable bed and walked over to my closet. After searching for a few minutes I found what I was looking for. I pulled out my black skinny jeans and a ripped up Batman shirt. I lined my crystal blue eyes with eyeliner and straightened my long black hair. I walked downstairs only to find my mom with a plate of pancakes.
"Do you want any before you go to school, Andy?" My mom asked me and I shook my head.
Occasionally I ate breakfast, but today I didn't have any time and I needed to start watching my weight again. Even though people say that I'm skinnier than I rail, I still think I'm big. I grabbed my keys and I waved goodbye to my mom. I wonder ho

"Hello class. My name is Mr. Radke. We have a new student. You," he said pointing to the guy next to me, "Ashley Purdy, correct? Stand up and introduce yourself."
Ashley let out a sigh and stood to his feet. I heard people laugh and question each other if the boy next to me was actually a guy.
"Hi. I'm Ashley Purdy," he simply said and Mr. Radke motioned for him to sit down. He looded down at his desk as if he was trying to avoid everyone and I looked back down at my notebook.
"Now, we will begin..." Mr. Radke said and he began to say something about the English language and how complicated it was. I try to pay attention, but I couldn't help to look over at the boy next to me.
I reached over and tapped on his shoulder and he stared at me with his dark brown eyes. "My name's Andy," I whispered holding out my hand and he hesitated to shake it. I gave him a small (rare) smile.
