Soft bits nibbled
Good hearts gobbled
Our World of knives
Lie in our mouths
The teeth and tongue
Slicing and dicing into pulp
Enticing with tasty words
Laced with noxious unseen germs
Spitting chewed useless hope onto the Earth
Swallowing guiltless down to stoke the gossip
Frayed souls in the end
Frayed by hungry knives and tongues

Gossips lethal, nothing gained
People gossiping...telling stories,
Making assumptions that possibly aren't true,
So many things that these people have made up,
Mostly because they've nothing better to do.
Telling tall tales as high as a mountain,
Speaking ideas which are delectably wrong,
Thinking out loud in great contemplation,
Trying to see if I'll go along.
It's so strange - you don't like me,
You know me, at best.
You have proved you're not trustworthy,
Yet expect me to confess.
Confess a story - that you've made up,
Something twisted, a lie,
But you hope that I'll say something,
Or at least won't deny.
Well I don't mind what you've made up,
