During the month of May.
His name is Bobby,
And I'm Adam Galloway.
We were holding hands,
We were happy as can be;
And then we met a stranger,
And he said to me:
"Look here at the faggots!
You're ruining my path!
I hate you gay ass fuckers,
Now you'll feel my wrath!"
The man pulled out a gun,
He aimed it at my head;
Bobby jumped in front of me -
Poor Bobby is now dead.
I caught his falling body,
As the stranger ran away.
I lost the love of my life,
All because we're gay.
He risked his life for me,
For Adam Galloway.
His name is Bobby G.
He died for being gay...
I was eating with my wife,
We were on a date.
Her name is Sarah,
My name is Deven Kate.
We got kicked out for kissing,
So we approached our car;
And what we both had seen,
Was pretty bizzare.
Our tires had been popped,
Our windows had been smashed,
The back seat was on fire;
So we both had dashed.
We didn't get that far,
When a girl got in our way;
She said to us, "Now burn!

Why Gays Shouldn't Have Rights
Did you know homosexuals aren't actually people? They are merely organisms mocking the human body, but have a few key differences. One is obvious: these creatures enjoy having sex with members of the same gender. Another good example is that homosexuals don't have blood like ours; their blood is a highly corrosive acid. Seeing as homosexuals aren't really human, these creatures should not have any rights. However, some people believe these creatures should have rights, some specific examples being the right to marry or the right to adopt our children. This, however, would make no sense whatsoever, because only humans should hold these rights.
For one, homosexual marriages would change the foundation of society. Marriage is an institution of church and state, which is not at all separated by any document governing our land. Besides, religion's influences on marriages haven't changed at all. Jews can't marry interfaith, and div
I took the gift of light for granted-
Assuming I would always see
But when my world darkened-
My fears took the best of me
And I would give anything
Just to see a spark or a glow
But my faith was also fading
Withering away like my hope
The only sight I had
Was beyond the walls in my mind
But they were just figments from the past
A false savior that I could only hide behind
The shadows were becoming my mask
It was shielding me from living my life
The skies rumbled ominously / Like cries echoing sorrowfully
I felt rain falling endlessly / Like infinite liquid apologies
Reality shed the blackness / The roars fiercely pierced
My eyes ignited the darkness / The heavens suddenly burst
What once was lost
Can also be found
For effects without a cause
Nothing would ever be returned
Our paths will once again cross
For destiny is bound
The lowest of the low-

There was an Election Party at the Campus Center during the 2004 Presidential Election. It started at 8:00 PM and went on until God only knows when. At the time I was in my dorm and talking to people online while following CNN and Yahoo! News. Unfortunately, everyone I knew was either busy, somewhere else, or online and about to leave.
The election was going depressingly well for Bush. I had expected that fear and ignorance would do that sort of thing. I tried not to act too depressed -- there was still California, Florida, and Ohio. I got my scarf and coat and decided to take a ten minute walk to the Campus Center for lack of anything better to do.
There were only two Atkins-friendly soda cans left by the time I arrived. It was all business majors sitting around drinking soda and talking about stuff not relating to the elections, any of the elections, in the damnedest. CNN was on the TVs there, for all the good that did. Two people seemed to a
Right hand of destruction
Left hand of creation
It's a never ending cycle
A fatal revival caught in a downward spiral
I tear down reality’s mask
As I build up a truth to give hope a chance
The veiled darkness decays
The guiding light fades
I let go of an old pain
As new tears wash it away
The sun always rises
The moon always sets
The rain subsides
The storm is put to rest
Clouds confide / Memories detest
Skies collide / Cries confessed
Light shines / Dark regrets
Pain hides / Peace professed
A new day awaits
An old night forgotten
Tomorrow I shall awake
To cradle what remains unbroken
I can't erase my mistakes
But I can't let them define my fate
There's always control
There's always faith to hold
Opposites are locked together
I am the sinner; I am the confessor
With time- comes change
Agony and serenity dawn a n
I jump when the tiny man in the wheelchair behind me clears his throat and speaks. Damn, how is he so quiet in that thing? Was I really that lost in thought, not to notice the subtle rolling of wheels across smooth linoleum? Blood rushes to my cheeks, the crimson liquid betraying my casual countenance. A few moments of silence pass. What do I say to that? What am I supposed to say? God knows that what I feel is against the rules... against nature. I want to talk to the kind doctor but I don't know, I just don't know if I'm... wrong.
"Come on, I've seen the way you look at him. Don't pretend it isn't there."
I turn around slowly and am immediately met by the soul-penetrating gaze of a human being no bigger than my palm, seated in the chair that's part of him, on a high platform he resents. He stares, he blinks, the wrinkles at the corners of his temples crinkle as he mulls me over, discovering my every thought in a single once-over with wise eyes. I
'You get special treatment because your gay! So if I start acting gay will I get special treatment?' Charles said one day.
'You really think we get special treatment oh ya let me explain.'
Next time your at the mall with your girlfriend think of this. Hold her hand, how many people make a comment? ya think about it. I get such special treatment when I go, I get comments nasty looks hell I've even been beat up for just holding someone's hand.
When your in public and you kiss her do people complain? When I do, people blow up and yell and scream, tell me I'm going to hell. oh ya that's special treatment.
when your married and, oh wait, I can't legally get married.
When your wife is sick your insurance covers it. Think about this, mine will die, why you ask? because we get special treatment and because we can't legally get married she is not covered by my insurance.
Next time think about it, I lose the love of my life, my child looses their mother all because I ge
First, how can someone be too open or too forward about who they are? After all, being gay is nothing to be ashamed of. Our society has moved past that archaic idea. Thus, there is no reason should we feel we have to be careful and discreet about how much we reveal about our sexuality. I don't introduce myself with "hi, I'm Anna and I'm gay," but when conversations on relationships, politics, gay rights, or my significant other come up, I'm not shy about saying that I am a lesbian. If that offends you, the fault is yours, not mine.
Secondly, many people misinterpret normal behaviors as being innately gay. I've known straight men that have many stereotypically gay mannerisms and many straight wom
Ever wonder what is on the other side of Homophobia?
Try to imagine
You are in the second grade,
And tell a girl she is pretty and you "like like" her.
She looks at you funny, says, "My mommy says people like you go to hell."
You cant comprehend,
Isnt this normal?
Sure the other girls have boys they like. But you...You dont understand.
Time passes. You're in the fifth grade. The dance is coming up. You want to ask this really cute girl.
But now you understand...
You are as weird as they say. So, You ask a boy. He takes you, and you're miserable...watching the girl you like being held by a boy.
You dance, when someone whispers in you partner's ear. He pushes you off and yells, "Dyke!" His crew laughs and the girls throw things, punch you, bruise your arms to teach you the sins.
You go to the car...your mom asks what happened, she knows it was probably your step-father again
And so are you
When you kiss me
I feel brand new
People might stare
They might get mad
But they can't understand
Nothing they never had
My heartbeat flutters
My brain is a mess
I love you more everyday
Not ever less
I want to protect you
I want you to smile
I want you to know
You're not a trial
Without a doubt
You're my mate and soul
And without you
I might lose control
Boys want to fix me
Girls only sigh
But when I look at you
I cannot see why
They say we're the same,
But we're nothing alike
They label us weirdo's,
Ugly, and dyke
But there's a secret
They do not know
That our romance
Is not just show
I'm in this for you,
My other half
My freaking everything
Who makes me laugh
I am a girl
And I love you
You're a girl
And you love me, too
Happy, bright, joyful.
Queer and homosexual.
Words that do not mean the same as ‘gay’:
Weak, stupid, lame.
Evil, abomination, shame.
You got that?
Is not an insult.
People want to be in control,
They see something that seems to be a threat,
That doesn't fit into their simple black and white ways.
So they build the walls.
They bring out the spears.
They hunt and the kill the grey creature.
They trap it.
Don't understand it.
And are scared of it.
So they hate it.
And then they form a law against it.
Gender shouldn't matter.
Colour shouldn't matter.
Age shouldn't matter.
Religion shouldn't matter.
Love is love.
It's as simple as night.
It's as simple as day.
Why make it complicated?
We all want something we cannot see
We all feel like we're failures on the inside
But outwardly you hide it like it's some surprise
We look at the cutters like their a mess
They don't know what they want so we all digress
But a problem is a problem whether big or small
And sometimes it's not even a problem at all
Like the child who is crying over a broken toy
Or the little baby laughing who is filled with joy
The mother who lost her very first child
To the teenager who's careless and runs around wild
The world we live in is a crazy disaster
And we are the ones who is its ringmaster
So to those who destroy is and fill it with hate
Damn them to hell along with their mistakes
To the gays and trans and all in between
To the ones hurting and crying with pleas
Love who you want and never be fake
Don't listen to haters for goodness sake
Don't be too hard on yourself, you'll make mistakes
You'll fall in love and have your heart break
You'll have bad habits
