When Hanna first told Conrad about how his undead partner never slept, Conrad didn't care. After he turned into a vampire and got to know the glowing-eyed man, however, that changed. Granted, he'd never tell anyone, he did start to think about how he could possibly help the undead pass the nighttime while Hanna snoozed. It took a while, but an epiphany came to him soon after Veser moved in. It took some sleuthing, but he finally managed to unearth his long-lost DSi and a game for it without Veser finding out (last thing he wanted was a sharp-toothed kid making fun of him).
He gave the system and the game to the green-skinned man in an awkward fashion, telling the man that he found this lying around in his apartment and didn't have a need for it, so he could have it. It might also help him pass the time at night, so yeah.
The undead man saw past that, however, and gave him a kind yet somber 'thank you.' This caused Conrad to flush red in embarrassment and sputter like a
