Seth - part 7
Bright sunlight shone through the window and onto my closed eyes. I awoke, blinked a few times, then sat up. It's amazing what a little good rest can do for a person; no matter how bad something is, a couple hours of sleep has a way of making it all feel so distant. In fact, I didn't feel half bad despite yesterday; the only real difference from any other morning was an intense hunger similar to when I first regained consciousness yesterday after being shot, and my missing hand which, to my amazement, had already started to regrow. Even my missing teeth had all come back in.
I simply sat there for a few minutes just enjoying the feeling of air moving solidly in and out of my lungs, blood flowing through my veins, and the warm sun filtering through the trees by the window onto my fur I heard birds singing out in the trees, and mom bustling around
