New Conlang Preview
I haven't constructed much grammar for this particular conlang, and it has no name. D: I have the phonology and such, and basic order. It does not have a concept of "syllables" because words cannot be broken down into syllables by the speakers.
Here're some examples I have.
Example of how syllables are not conceived:
All words are composed of, what I call, layers. A layer cannot exist unless it is absolutely symmetrical. There are four possible layers, and they operate like this:
[layer three] + [layer two] + [layer one] + *root* + [layer one] + [layer two] + [layer three]
The fourth layer is only found in specific words, and it cuts in the middle of the root of a word. Here are examples of each:
Root
dre, "see"
First Layer
zi+dre+byîn, "catch a glimpse"
Note that the root does not necessarily have to pertain to the meaning of a word.
Also note that there are phonotactic rules for all layers, but not individually.
Second Layer
[zya]bu+dra+bya[mâ],
