Foreword: Hello reader. So here's the beginning snippet of a fan fiction I am working on, or rather the first fan fiction I have ever attempted. It is based on the internet web series Critical Role! Although the main characters are mostly by my design, the world is not so I do not take any credit in the creation of it. From her initial judgements of the people at S.T.A.R. Labs, Merry had singled Cisco out as the one who'd be easiest to win over. She knew that whatever your goal was, when you had someone else on your side, it was easier to start converting others too. Merry rolled her eyes to herself as the barista then wrote 'Mary' on the polystyrene cup before ringing the order through the till. "That'll be four ninety-five please."
