. .. ... .... The world had changed in the amount of time I had been in that jail cell. According to Loki, that time was eighty days. When I first heard that, I panicked. If one could travel around the world in that time, it was certainly enough time to lose a war and more than enough time for a large group of people to be executed. I hid my panic well, though. Loki was good at reading people, but I was sure he couldn't see through me so easily; assuming, that is, I hadn't lost the skill in that eighty-day bubble. He summoned Raven, Blink, and Elli. I wasn't sure if he did it because he thought it would calm me down or because he wanted me to stay. He didn't bother sending me to my old room in the Selected's quarters.
