There was the usual whir of technology, a sound that penetrated deep into her mind. No matter how frequently she used the SoulLink, it gave her a thrill she could feel throughout her entire being. Though she knew her body was rendered immobile due to the headgear, she still felt like she shivered as she “saw” the start-up process in her mind.
