Lovers in the Breeze - Poem
Soft lights and a breeze that is so free
The world is musical and it bids you dance with me
Reddish auburn hues, golden sun, and earthy greens
Like two leaves in the wind, twirling, whirling, whispering

Despair in the Downpour - Poem
A translucent shield only light can pierce
Dripping droplets pitter pattering so fierce
The ripples roll off the curvature and fall
Like boundless buckets flowing constant, pressing hard
The weight is heavy but the tempest cannot last
The wind has dropped away and in firmness I'm stuck fast

I cannot discern a shape with all the variance in hues
A bitter intake of breath
Perhaps I have been too displaced
Although I have not forgotten
Like hope - sweet memories can fade
The warbling of a lark at the gentle rising of the sun
In my mind's eye I see your face, only to open my eyes
