Izz felt terrible.
While fortunately he hadn’t sustained any lasting injuries from his fight, his systems were still recovering from repeated overloads to his motor functions. Even now, his limbs gave an unsteady twitch every so often. What was worse than the physical soreness though, was the mental and emotional exhaustion. Now that the excitement from the fight had worn off, he was just left with a somewhat melancholy and empty feeling.
This tournament was not turning out quite the way he had expected. While it was true that he had anticipated hardship and being forced to defend himself, he hadn’t foreseen being immediately th

His reluctant companion once more tried to dissuade him from following through with his revenge, but Victor refused. His pride as a warrior king would not allow such a slight against him to go unpunished. The mere idea of him being outwitted like that made his blood boil.
He told his bodyguard to once more try to subdue the opponent with its electric arm, but this time Victor would not stop to gloat over his win. He would immediately start sawing away with a dagger at its joints to buy time for his bodyguard

Hours later, when the fire had died down and the shaking in his hands had stopped, Casimir finally continued his search for the next contestant he had to defeat. He had three stars in total from his successes, and Kyuu had made it clear he needed five to get access to Ametsuchi’s main portal and confront her. He asked himself if he was really ready for this- by any means necessary he had to defeat the last of his opponents and Ametsuchi herself. Casimir took a deep breath, and then another,

Two bright lights flashed in the darkness, revealing a pair of cybernetic eyes. With a series of soft whirs and beeps, a lone android began booting up, once again getting ready to start his daily routine. Reluctantly, he stood from his charging bay and, as had happened every day for the past century or so, he briefly wo

Casimir awoke to the feeling of his arms being pressed tightly to his sides by a length of some sort of rope. He peeled his eyes open and wriggled against the bonds, testing the strength of the knot and the rope itself. It held fast. He snarled, and for a moment he considered setting it ablaze, even despite the risk it posed to himself, for it would only take a thought to push his will into the bindings and sear the lot.

The bright flash of light faded from Victor’s vision, showing that true to the strange winged woman’s words, he was indeed in another location. It was a bizarre place; the buildings surrounding him were of unfamiliar make, and seemingly crumbling in disrepair. Instead of open sky, there simply appeared to be a massive stone ceiling overhead, partially hidden by a thick layer of mist.
He appeared to have arrived in some sort of dank alleyway, if the moisture and grime were any indication. He supposed that he was fortunate that he hadn’t appeared in the middle of a major street. Despite the city at first glance appear

Izz emerged from the portal to find himself amidst a vast field of ice and snow. His optics widened as he took in the eerie beauty of the Zone.
A towering mountain loomed in the distance, surrounded by floating islands and jutting peaks of ice, all backdropped by an absolutely enormous moon that took up the vast majority of the viewable night sky. Idly, Izz wondered how the tidal forces between the planet he was standing on and its moon hadn’t caused the two heavenly bodies to tear each other apart, but he chalked it up to it being a different universe, with potentially different rules than his native one. Still, he had to admit it mad
