Daisuke sighed and ran his fingers through his thick black hair. He held the black tube of his Geiger counter over the ocean’s surface and waited before pulling back after a few seconds. “Nothing,” he mumbled in Japanese. Another Japanese man dressed in a white collared shirt appeared beside him. “Anything, Daisuke?” he said to him. Daisuke paused before solemnly answering, “No... nothing yet.” He

Chapter 3
Murphy's Law
Godzilla hounded his cunningly resilient opposer. Submerged, he followed close behind, tracking Algormortis by the violent wakes that trailed behind and by the blood that gushed from the wound in his face as he passed across the surface.
Algormortis came to a quick stop as Godzilla increased speed and reeled upwards to engage his opponent a second time. He rumbled an echoing bellow.
The blades of the helicopter chopped through the bitter ocean air carrying the craft into the city; Yokohama, Japan.
Daisuke and Hideo departed from the air terminal after landing and immediately made their way to Daisuke’s house
