Artist's Statement

This small corner of our national heritage is very attractive in early October. There is a mature tree of C. obovatus in the background which used to be called 'Mr Kodak' by Kew staff because it attracts photographers like flies, in autumn. I like the dalmation spotted effect on the column in the negative half. This was taken in October 2009. The tiny print on offer is a reflection of the low-resd setting used on the original. If any interest were shown a hi-res version might be made available.
