I remember a love I once had. It rained all over me like honey. The passion is gone but the glittering remains.

I have always been inspired by moths, they're such weird night creatures with the most intriguing patterns on their wings. I wanted to capture the same color scheme and texture in this painting.. and also to reflect the death symbolism associated with moths.
