Whoot! After nearly two years I believe of just sitting, I finally got off my lazy bum and finished it! I drew this a while ago as a birthday present for me. But I never finished it. Eh heh heh. I believe it was the same year as when I got my tablet but I'm not sure. Definitely before I got my big Prismacolor pack.

The girl's star and moon cloack, hair, eyes, and wings were actually done with markers. Crayola and Prisma I believe. (It's been so long I don't remember... ^_^;) Her skin was originally markers too but it was too strong so I took like an hour to get rid of it. *gonk* And recolored it digitally. Her dress was always going to be done on the computer for that lovely gradient. The swing was computer too. And the background. The main reason why I scanned it in half finished. I wanted her to be among the starry sky. One problem though. That's way too hard to do by hand! So I did a lot of work to select everything but her, then did some filters and bucket fills to get the spacy gas stuff. The stars are another filter.

But yeah... Finally done.

I seem to recall trying something new with her hair at the time. Which I never did again due to its complexity. Fewer detailed shadows on this one too due to trying to match the markers look.
