Artist's Statement
This painting is a personal piece. I was using a photograph of one of my best friends. She loves purple and Butterflies so it was easy to make the concept work. The use of patterns is because I am in love with Art Nouveau at the moment, and the painting was just a challenge to make a convincing portrait and utilize Painter and Photoshop together.

Matte Finish Photo Prints
Printed on Kodak Edge paper, Matte Photo Prints have a smooth surface. Matte finishes have a lower-contrast and are often used to enhance the innate textures of Photo Prints.
Lustre Finish Photo Prints
Printed on Kodak Super Endura, Lustre-finished Prints are a premier paper offering. Lustre has a slight gloss with a subtle, matte texture. Lustre paper has deeper color-saturation and higher contrast than matte and can sometimes result in a darker image.
