Artist's Statement
'Mad' as in Mad Scientist mad, hehe. I'm very happy how this one turned out. Have i forgotten to mention that much of the inspiration for the style of these is from :iconpink-porcupine: ? Though not as eerily awesome as hers, the simplistic yet superbly-well detailed imagery is what i am trying to attain in somewhat similar fashion (In fact, i forgot to mention that her lovable oddness much inspired my idea for #1. Introduction for the 100 Themes Challenge, and if you haven't seen her work, DO click on her icon there - and read the descriptions, too. She's just brilliant, probably in that way that she doesn't even realize it, cuz it's like breathing to her - i probably should have kept her praise for when i do the Pink Orb Goddess as was her request - but i haven't done it yet, and this one here just works).
Anyway, haha, back to this piece. I am very proud of the body and how it's placed against the masses of hair! That hair took a long time to shade. I'm closer to accomplishing my visual goal in this one than the others ... but Ms. Green Orb is still my favorite, hehe. |
