Description
One of the stronger moons defiantly could remain at such a close distance relative to the other planet, others succumbed, forming the rings which due to tidal forces will continue to remain untouched by the gravity of the moon.
I think these are my best planet rings yet. Any suggestions welcome, I'm a bit uncertain about that moon's reflection on those rings, oh well.
The color scheme might be a little dull, but I've done so many other colours.
The title was made up quickly, couldn't come up with anything better in 10 secs.
Original resolution: 10k by 10k pixels.
Edit: Added much more details and highlights to the background nebulae, a lot of it is not visible in this low resolution copy though.
Also added a larger star, with hot gasses surrounding it. Made the moon's reflection/shadow a little darker. I might crop the bottom part of the image later.
This image was heavily influenced by [link] , Greg Martin's "Genesis", [link] and another one I don't remember.

Mmm, that really dark cast shadow is distracting me more than it should I think.... Maybe make it smaller and/or not quite as dark, or lose it all together. I really am not sure, I would have to see how it would look otherwise to make a decision, I just think your eye goes there and kinda gets stuck longer than it should.
