"Folded Light" - a close-up cropping of my garden snapshot.

I just love the delicate lavenders and purples that were captured in this photo. I cropped the original so you only see the petals. I like this image for the light and shadow, peaks and valleys -- the delicate contrast. The color, once again, is untouched in photo editor program. This is how my Sterling Silver rose's bloom looked this morning -- mauve and lavender with a hint of sepia. Taken outdoors in the natural sunlight.

I also love this photo BECAUSE the rose is not flawless. The color is pale enough to show slightest bit of damage like sunburn through dew drops or chaffing from wind. It's almost true that the rose is all the more dear to me because of the flaws. ^_^ It's a proof that beauty does not require perfection by any means.

Looks like I need to fix the clock on my camera... :XD:
