Taken at: Columbus Ohio Komen Walk 2009
This year at the Komen Walk, the walk to find a cure for breast cancer, mingled in the sea of over 47,000 walkers there were many pink wigs. They were in honor and memory of Heather Pick, a 10WBNS reporter who discovered she had breast cancer. On her last days on television as a reporter she sported a pink wig to help create breast cancer awareness. Now these wigs are worn for her. In Memory of Heather Pick 1970-2008 |
