Paradise next door
This gorge lies just 20 minutes north of Graz, where I live. It's the most beautiful place of its kind in whole Styria. Now, when the snow melts, the creeks are nicely filled with water. I didn't climb the gorge itself, as it's just being repaired because stone avalanches have torn some several of the bridges there. Maybe I will make it there again next week - before the offical opening on May 1st. From then on it's very hard to shoot images there as people always walk past and you can never keep your tripod steady. I wanted to keep the shot natural - processing is minimal, just bringing back the highlights in the water. FULL VIEW PLEASE ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Location: Bärenschützklamm, Styria, Austria [link] Date: April 22th, 2009 Light Conditions: Cloudy ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Camera: Canon EOS 5D Mark II Lens: Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* 35-70mm f/3.4 Focal Length: 35 mm Shutter Speed: 1/3 sec Aperture: 16 ISO: 100 Tripod: Feisol CT-3402 Tripod Head: Benro KB-1 Ball Head Filters: - Hoya Pro1 Digital Circular Polarizer Slim -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This description was created by a little tool called PhotoInfo.
