My point of view on this :

This painting is about humanity , the way it judges things , is afraid of whatever's different and new , and the way it acts towards it. I had the idea of drawing a giant whom had destroyed a whole city without paying attention, and didn't mean to hurt anyone. It finally ends up being attacked by humans , and fights back , destroy the rest of the city. After finding a tree amongst the rubbles , he realises the beauty of life and how humanity is destroying it , so he decides to seat and think about it , not carrying about them anymore, and not willing to defend himself anymore.

Done over a week on photoshop Cs2 using my wonderful wacom ^^

The bulding on the left is half mattepainted, as the one in the background on the right ,rest is totally paintbrushed .
