Artist's Statement
This is the header Illustration for Yang Town, a spiritual blog for men.
Yang Town helps men develop masculine power, emotional strength, a sense of purpose, personal integrity, and an open heart. Concepts include the Law of Attraction, Energy Techniques like EFT and TAT, Chakras, The Power of Now, Chinese Taoism, Ideagasms Relationship Model, Compassion, and more. I created various illustrations and worked for 4 months with an overseas graphic designer to get this custom wordpress theme just right. Printed on Kodak Edge paper, Matte Photo Prints have a smooth surface. Matte finishes have a lower-contrast and are often used to enhance the innate textures of Photo Prints.
Lustre Finish Photo Prints
Printed on Kodak Super Endura, Lustre-finished Prints are a premier paper offering. Lustre has a slight gloss with a subtle, matte texture. Lustre paper has deeper color-saturation and higher contrast than matte and can sometimes result in a darker image.
