I got a new digital camera and finally discovered how to make makro and texture filled photos, the detail of this new "tool" is amazing! I can finally take photos which have enough "information" to use them digital, so the background of this image is a adjusted and painted over photo I took, the original photo can be found here: [link]

The little gryphon, is supposed to be a Blue-Tit squirrel gryphon and painted up from scratch, digitally in Photoshop Cs2 using a Wacom intuos tablet, I painted the little guy in daylight-colors and adjusted him later on to fit to the night mood, I think I wil upload the daylight version as well.. later maybe. ;)
hope you like, this was really fun, painting isn't really my "thing" but it's some nice training in between ;)
