Actually I had a matte paintings in the works, which was almost finished, when I got a little frustrated with it and decided to take a break from landscapes and paint another nude.

This title is something that struck me during the piece...the idea with the vines came pretty much out of nowhere, but it made me feel, like the woman has been tied to the ground by the vines for a while, and is now trying to come free, gathering strength from her love. Perhaps that sounds a little cheesy, but seeing how I usually think endlessly until I come up with a title, I figured I'd go with what hits me first.
Anyhow, if anyone of you connects the piece to the title in a different way, I am curious to hear :nod:

I think I learned a lot with this piece, I painted much more loosely, and really enjoyed the process. Unlike with my previous nude paintings, I used private reference this time, so I hope you guys understand, that I am not going to share it with you on this piece.
But as usual, no tracing or painting over here, this is pure brushwork.
