Description

Came across this while walking in Sacramento early on a Sunday morning. The light from the morning sun was reflecting off a window behind me onto the building. Did a little post processing to correct the perspective a bit and bring out some of the contrasts.

The first thing I notice is how well the word 'Gray' captures the mood and color of the whole composition. You have a real good eye for spotting things like this. The mood of this common street scene is somber and ashen. The gray day blahs of being stuck in a rut with not a spot of color to brighten the day is the mood that this composition envokes.
