Freezing guardian

The corners of your eyes are beginning to crisp with a thin layer of ice, and your bones rattle with an unquenchable longing for the heat that's been sucked from your body by the empty air.  The forest is silent, resilient against the cold spell, not budging an inch, and yet you know you're not alone.  Through clouding vision, you see a strange glowing figure walking in front of you, as if leading you.  They stop, and look over their shoulder as your consciousness begins to drift, and their cold eyes send a chill down your spine, making all the frost in your veins feel warm in comparison.

Okay!  This one took a while, but it's finished!  It was sort of style experimenting, and a challenge.  Aside from the final finishing touches (the frosty corners and the little breath) I only had three colors to work with, and I could darken or lighten them as need be, but I could not use the influence of any other color.
