Silence, Please

When I saw this shot in thumbnail I thought it was fantastic - - a dystopian commentary of some kind as if from a stylized scifi picture. And it does have all these attributes in full size.

But it is also slightly disappointing as a photograph. The depth of field is just slightly too narrow and should have reached just a tad closer to the poster for my taste. There is major intrusion on the right bottom corner. If more in focus (but not in focus), it would have been a creepy addition to the story of the frame; but this blurred out it just seems intrusive and unintended.

These two compositional issues tend to make the image look less considered and more al fresco. As a snapshot in a subway its great. But it could have been a contender....
