I think this one came out much nicer than the picture of the damselfly, although I prefer their eye structure better.

I would have to agree with what Heart said for the most part. I am kind of impressed by how you were able to take a picture of an insect without it getting frightened and flying away. (unless it was already dead and in perfect condition.)
One thing that I would suggest? My two cents... The background is a little too blurred, in my opinion. Although I get that the idea is to focus in on the head and face; it seems almost as if you pasted the face onto a background. The background being the insects body.
But that's just what I think. I still think it's a very impressive photo and it was taken very well. There's no way I would've been able to capture this.
