This highly contrasted painting in deep, dark blues and crisp whites features a stylized female nude with long, flowing hair accented in different hues of blue and white. The gray looking areas are actually silver paint, making areas of this piece shimmer. She looks ghostly to me, like an apparition, but grounded. The background feels like there are structures in it...it felt like she was floating along a main street in some Victorian era European Village. But that might be just me....
