This work of art has a Escher like quality. Of course one always thinks of him seeing staircases. In your art he found his match, congratulations. At the top of the stairs we see the floor and the top in a double quality. This is a 'picture' with humor. That's rare when you have a staircase as a subject, but now the dictatorship of the form has been overcome by the lightness of a smile. Actually there is not much to say about it except some matters of taste. I wonder if a little bit of empty space at the very bottom of the picture would add a bit of breathing space over there.
I am not too fond of a big signature, especially when it adds a different atmosphere then the piece of art itself does; and it it is different in my opinion. I would prefer this picture without any letter at all. A letter is a different concept of communication. The words formed by these letters convey two different messages: 1. this work of art is mine 2. other work of mine can be found at a specific website. I don't need these messages to appreciate the art. When I appreciate it, I will find your name and website. It decreases the impact for me a bit. Perhaps a white frame with this message in the bottom of the frame would have worked too. Or a little symbol in the pic. But again, that's personal. I like the creativity and the quality very much.
